Campercontact via Qenner

In this article, we explain how to connect your accommodations on Campercontact to Camping.Care using Qenner’s channel manager. This integration automatically synchronizes prices and availability.

1. Important to know beforehand

Before you start the integration, it is essential to be aware of the following conditions:

  • Payments: Qenner does not support payment processing. This is handled through Campercontact or your own payment provider.

  • Cancellations: Qenner does not automatically cancel reservations in Camping.care that have been cancelled in Campercontact. You'll receive an email from Qenner after a cancellation, so you can cancel the reservation manually in Camping.care.

  • Limitations: Not all of the settings you can set up in Camping.care are transferred to Campercontact. Please read chapter 2 carefully to find out what data is shared with Campercontact. 

2. What Data is Shared with Campercontact?

Not all data in Camping.care is shared with Campercontact via Qenner. Here an overview of what will be sent to Campercontact via the Qenner integration:

  • Amount of available pitches.

  • Nightly rate.

  • Status: Is the unit open or closed for bookings?

  • Arrival & Departure: Specific days allowed for check-in and check-out.

  • Stay Duration: Minimum and maximum stay requirements.

  • Booking Offsets: Minimum and maximum lead times for guest bookings.

    • It's also possible to set a minimum offset in Campercontact itself. When working with an offset, we recommend setting it both in Camping.care and Campercontact so there will not be a mismatch.

  • Products can be mapped under the Channel Manager settings, so the correct products are added to invoices, but the prices set up in Campercontact will be used.

3. What Data is NOT Shared with Campercontact?

Not all data in Camping.care is shared with Campercontact via Qenner. Here is an overview of what will NOT be sent to Campercontact via the Qenner integration:

  • Additional guest prices: These are configured manually by Qenner. To set additional person prices, you'll have to email Qenner the following:

    • Price per age table (adult, child, baby, etc) and the period the price is valid.

    • Changes to these rates must always be communicated directly to Qenner.

  • Extra Products Prices: The costs of additional options (such as reservation costs) are not automatically synchronized. These are managed in your CamperContact portal.

  • Content: Discriptions, photos and amenities are not transferred. You manage the content directly in Campercontact.

4. How to Connect: Step-by-Step

Step 1: Install the App

Navigate to the Camping.care Appstore and locate the Campercontact app. Click the Install button.

If the app is not visible in your appstore, please contact us at support@camping.care.

Step 2: Set Up Your Rates

In the Campercontact app within Camping.care, you can select a specific rate for each accommodation.

  • Tip: If you wish to set a different price for Campercontact than for your own booking site, consider setting up a computed rate.

Step 3: Set Up Your Products

After configuring your rates, go to Settings -> Channel Manager -> Products to add additional products that should be bookable via CamperContact (e.g., tourist taxes, reservation costs, pet fees).

  • Keep in mind the prices for the products are set in Campcontact. The products can be set up in Camping.care so the correct products are mapped on the invoices.

Step 4: Finalize Onboarding & Notify Qenner

Important: Qenner requires manual activation once your settings are ready. Please don't forget to complete the final step:

  1. Send a Confirmation Email: Contact support@qenner.com once you have finished the setup.

    • Make sure to include your camping name and specify that you wish to connect to Campercontact.

Once Qenner processes your request, your integration will be activated!
